Coaching & Support for Women Healing from Betrayal

You don't have to know exactly what kind of support you need before you begin.

Betrayal can leave you overwhelmed, frightened, and unsure what you need—or what to do next.

Whether the betrayal involves an affair, infidelity, pornography addiction, sex addiction, compulsive sexual behavior, or another form of relational betrayal, you do not have to know exactly what kind of support you need before you begin.

Reflections in the Waves offers several ways to receive support, individually and in community.

You don't have to choose perfectly. We can begin with what feels most supportive right now.

Wherever You Are Today

You don't need to arrive calm, clear, or knowing what comes next.

You may be overwhelmed.
You may be scared.
You may be trying to save your marriage.
You may not know what you want at all.

We can begin there

1. Individual Trauma-Savvy Coaching

A private space centered on you

Individual coaching offers dedicated time to slow down, talk about what you're experiencing, and explore what you may need.

You might come wanting to talk about a recent trigger, something happening in your relationship, anger or grief, a boundary, a difficult decision—or simply how to get through what feels overwhelming today.

You don't need to arrive knowing what you need to work on.

Sessions are 50 minutes and guided by what feels most important to you that day.

Walk & Reflect Coaching

Sometimes sitting still and staring at a screen is the last thing you need.

A Walk & Reflect session offers another way to connect. You can step outside, put in your earbuds, and walk somewhere that feels safe and familiar while we talk.

There is no agenda you need to prepare and nowhere you need to get.

We can talk about what happened, what you discovered, what you are afraid of, what is happening in your relationship, or simply what feels hardest today.

This is not a workout. You set the pace. You can walk slowly, pause, sit down, or stop whenever you need to.

Virtual Walk & Reflect

Join me by phone while you walk in a safe, familiar place near you.

For some women, gentle movement can make it easier to talk, breathe, think, and feel a little less confined by the overwhelm.

In-Person Walk & Reflect

For local clients, limited in-person walking sessions may also be available at a mutually agreed-upon outdoor location.

We can walk, pause, sit, and let the conversation unfold naturally.

Additional resources for our work

When helpful, I may offer Reflections in the Waves™ educational resources, reflection exercises, and worksheets to support what we're exploring together.

These aren't assignments. They're invitations you can use when—and if—they feel supportive.

2. The Waves Community

Ongoing Support & Belonging

Interest List forming

Betrayal can be profoundly isolating.

The Waves Community is a small, supportive online gathering for women who understand something about what you're carrying.

Come as you are—to talk, listen, reflect, or simply be present.

There is no curriculum to complete and no expectation that you be anywhere other than where you are.

You don't have to carry everything alone.

The Waves Community meets online in a small-group setting for 90 minutes each week.

3. Unleashing Your Power Guided Study Group

A Guided, 13-Week Small-Group Experience

Interest List forming

Moving through betrayal. Reconnecting with yourself.

Betrayal can leave you questioning not only your relationship, but your own sense of what is real, what you need, and what you can trust.

The Unleashing Your Power Guided Study Group is a small, trauma-savvy coaching and peer-support group built around Unleashing Your Power: Moving Beyond Partner Betrayal by Carol Juergensen Sheets and Christine Turo-Shields.

Together, we'll use the workbook as a guide for exploring the journey from safety and stabilization through grief, self-discovery, and post-traumatic growth—while making room for your own experience, your own questions, and your own pace.

More than a workbook study

There is a lot packed into this workbook. And some of it can be difficult to work through alone.

Participants will explore selected readings and exercises between meetings and then come together in a small, supportive community to reflect on what they're discovering.

Our conversations may include:

  • Understanding the confusion, disorientation, and self-doubt that can follow betrayal

  • Creating greater safety and stability

  • Making space for anger, grief, loss, and mourning

  • Exploring needs, boundaries, voice, and agency

  • Rebuilding self-trust

  • Reconnecting with identity and values

  • Exploring meaning, purpose, possibility, and post-traumatic growth

You don't need to move through the material in a particular way or at someone else's pace. Sharing is always voluntary, and there is no agenda for whether you stay, leave, forgive, reconcile, or make any other particular choice about your relationship.

Why study in community?

A workbook can provide information and thoughtful questions.

Community can offer something different.

A place to say, “This is what came up for me,” and have someone understand.

A place to hear another woman's experience and realize you're not the only one.

A place to practice using your voice.

A place to explore what safety, self-trust, meaning, and growth might look like for you.

And a place to be reminded that you don't have to do all of this alone.

This group may be a fit if...

You're looking for a structured way to explore the impact betrayal has had on you.

You want to better understand your responses while also beginning to reconnect with yourself.

You're carrying grief, anger, loss, uncertainty, or questions about who you are now.

You want support that honors your agency rather than telling you what you should do about your relationship.

You'd like to work through meaningful material alongside women who understand rather than doing all of it alone.

You Don't Have to Know Which Path Is Right Yet

If you're not sure which kind of support would feel most helpful, that's okay.

A complimentary Reflection Call gives us a chance to talk about what you're experiencing, what you may need right now, and whether one of these options feels like a good fit.
