Meet Amy Graziano
Like many women I work with, I've experienced what it's like to have life suddenly change in ways I never expected.
When the Ground Beneath You Shifts
There was a time in my life when I felt overwhelmed by uncertainty, grief, and questions I couldn't answer.
I know what it's like to have your sense of safety shaken.
To question your instincts.
To feel disconnected from yourself.
To wonder if you'll ever feel like "you" again.
That's why I created Reflections in the Waves—to offer women a compassionate, trauma-savvy space where they can begin to reconnect with themselves, one step at a time.
Why Reflections in the Waves
I've always been drawn to the water.
Waves remind me that healing isn't linear.
Some days feel calm.
Some days feel stormy.
Some days feel uncertain.
But every wave eventually settles.
And every season of healing brings new understanding.
The name Reflections in the Waves represents the journey of looking inward, discovering the strength within us that trauma may have made difficult to see.
This is the spirit I bring to my coaching work.
What My Own Healing Taught Me
Through my own healing journey, I came to understand that recovery cannot be rushed or forced. We need space to breathe, support that feels safe, and permission to listen to what our own hearts and bodies are telling us.
Those lessons continue to shape how I walk alongside women today.
Why I Chose This Work
My own experiences inspired me to pursue professional coach training so I could walk alongside women navigating betrayal trauma and life transitions.
As a Trauma-Informed Certified Coach, I offer a compassionate, trauma-savvy space where women can begin to:
understand their responses to trauma;
reconnect with their needs and inner wisdom;
rebuild self-trust;
strengthen boundaries and use their voice;
move forward with greater agency, resilience, and hope.
What Guides My Work
My mission is to provide a compassionate, supportive space where women impacted by betrayal can create safety, rebuild self-trust, and reconnect with themselves, their values, and the possibility of a meaningful life.
I believe healing happens at the speed of safety. Every woman deserves the time, support, and freedom to process her experience in a way that honors her needs, her story, and her own inner wisdom.
My hope is for a world in which women are no longer defined by what happened to them, but feel empowered to live from the strength, clarity, and self-trust they discover along the way.
My Trauma-Savvy Coaching Approach
My coaching is grounded in a trauma-savvy approach that honors the profound impact trauma can have on a woman’s sense of safety, identity, relationships, and ability to trust herself.
My understanding of trauma-savvy coaching has been deeply shaped by the teaching and mentorship of Rae Gaelyn Emerson. Rae describes trauma-savvy coaching as:
“Partnering with clients through trauma and transition, co-creating a foundation of safety and stability, one that empowers survivors to (a) manage the crisis, (b) come to terms with its impact, and (c) reconnect to life via post-traumatic growth. Informed by specialist training, consultation and supervision, this evidence-based approach fully honors the lived experience of trauma survivors, attuned to their presenting contexts, nuanced sensitivities, inherent strengths and maximum potential.”
Definition by Rae Gaelyn Emerson, inspired by the work of Dr. Judith Herman and Dr. Barbara Steffens. Used with permission.
This philosophy reflects the heart of how I seek to walk alongside women: with compassion, curiosity, respect, and a deep belief in their inherent wisdom and capacity for healing.
At Reflections in the Waves, I bring this philosophy to life through The Reflections in the Waves Journey.
The Reflections in the Waves Journey
While trauma-savvy coaching provides the philosophy that guides my work, I have organized that philosophy into The Reflections in the Waves Journey—the framework I use to help women navigate healing after betrayal.
Together, we move through four interconnected stages:
🛟 Creating Safety
establishing a foundation where healing can begin
⚓ Finding Stability
developing the tools, boundaries, and support that help you regain solid ground
💙 Rebuilding Self-Trust
reconnecting with your inner wisdom, honoring your needs, and finding your voice.
🌊 Embracing Growth
integrating your experience and creating a life that reflects your values, resilience, and hope.
How I Walk Alongside You
My role isn't to tell you what decisions to make or how your story should unfold.
Instead, I partner with you to create a compassionate, trauma-savvy space where you can slow down, reconnect with yourself, and move through The Reflections in the Waves Journey at a pace that feels safe and sustainable.
Healing is about coming home to yourself.
How I Hope You'll Feel
I hope you leave our work together believing in your own resilience.
Believing that healing is possible.
Believing that joy can return.
Believing that you can trust yourself again.
Beyond Coaching
When I'm not coaching, you'll often find me:
🌊 Near the water
☕ Enjoying meaningful conversations
🚶 Hiking or walking and reflecting
🌅 Watching a sunrise or sunset
💙 Spending time with the people I love
I believe healing happens through both deep inner work and the simple moments that reconnect us to ourselves.

A Personal Note
If you're visiting this page because you're navigating betrayal trauma, I want you to know something:
The way you feel right now does not define your future.
Healing is possible.
Self-trust can be rebuilt.
Hope can return.
And you don't have to walk that journey alone.
I'd be honored to support you
