Meet Amy Graziano
Hi, I'm Amy.
And like many women I work with, I've experienced what it's like to have life suddenly change in ways I never expected
When the Ground Beneath You Shifts
There was a time in my life when I felt overwhelmed by uncertainty, grief, and questions I couldn't answer.
I know what it's like to have your sense of safety shaken.
To question your instincts.
To feel disconnected from yourself.
To wonder if you'll ever feel like "you" again.
That's why I created Reflections in the Wavesβto offer women a compassionate, trauma-savvy space where they can begin to reconnect with themselves, one step at a time.
Why "Reflections in the Waves"
I've always been drawn to the water.
Waves remind me that healing isn't linear.
Some days feel calm.
Some days feel stormy.
Some days feel uncertain.
But every wave eventually settles.
And every season of healing brings new understanding.
The name Reflections in the Waves represents the journey of looking inward, discovering strength we may have forgotten, and finding hope even in life's most difficult moments.
This is the spirit I bring to my coaching work.
The Lessons That Changed My Life
Through my own healing journey, I came to understand that recovery isn't about rushing toward healing. It begins with safety, grows through stability, strengthens through self-trust, and eventually opens the door to growth.
Supporting Women from Chaos to Clarity
My experiences inspired me to pursue coaching so I could support other women navigating betrayal trauma and life transitions.
As a Certified Trauma-Informed Coach, I provide a compassionate, supportive space where women can:
Reconnect with themselves
Rebuild self-trust
Understand trauma responses
Strengthen boundaries
Move forward with greater confidence and hope
My Mission
To provide a compassionate, trauma-savvy space where women impacted by betrayal can create safety, rebuild self-trust, and reconnect with life through healing and growth.
My Vision
A world where women no longer define themselves by what happened to them, but by the strength and wisdom they discover through healing.
What I Believe
Healing happens at the speed of safety. Every woman deserves a compassionate space to process her experience, reconnect with herself, and move forward with confidence.
What Does Trauma-Savvy Mean?
The trauma-savvy coaching approach I use is based on the work and teaching of Rae Gaelyn Emerson, whose mentorship has significantly influenced my understanding of supporting trauma survivors.
Rae defines trauma-savvy coaching as:
"Partnering with clients through trauma and transition, co-creating a foundation of safety and stability, one that empowers survivors to (a) manage the crisis, (b) come to terms with its impact, and (c) reconnect to life via post-traumatic growth. Informed by specialist training, consultation and supervision, this evidence-based approach fully honors the lived experience of trauma survivors, attuned to their presenting contexts, nuanced sensitivities, inherent strengths and maximum potential."
β Rae Gaelyn Emerson, inspired by the work of Dr. Judith Herman and Dr. Barbara Steffens
This philosophy deeply resonates with the way I believe healing happens.
At Reflections in the Waves, I apply these principles through my own coaching framework, The Trauma-Savvy Pathβ’, which helps women move toward healing through:
π Safety
β Stability
π Self-Trust
π Growth
Rather than focusing on fixing, pushing through, or "getting over" what happened, we work together to create a foundation of safety and stability that supports healing.
My role is to partner with you as you:
Navigate the immediate crisis
Understand the impact of trauma
Rebuild self-trust
Strengthen emotional resilience
Reconnect with yourself and your life
Move toward meaningful post-traumatic growth
An important point of clarification: Post-traumatic growth doesn't mean being thankful for the pain you experienced. It means recognizing that healing can create new strength, wisdom, boundaries, and self-understanding that weren't available before.
Healing doesn't happen through pressure. It happens through safety, support, and self-discovery.
Beyond Coaching
When I'm not coaching, you'll often find me:
π Near the water
β Enjoying meaningful conversations
πΆ Hiking or walking and reflecting
π Watching a sunrise or sunset
π Spending time with the people I love
I believe healing happens through both deep inner work and the simple moments that reconnect us to ourselves.

A Personal Note
If you're visiting this page because you're navigating betrayal trauma, I want you to know something:
The way you feel right now does not define your future.
Healing is possible.
Self-trust can be rebuilt.
Hope can return.
And you don't have to walk that journey alone.
I'd be honored to support you.
